My Founding Story
I am a BSL interpreter. Until recently, I set up a non profit training company that supported deaf people in to work.
Then the bat bug hit.
My company went from training to supporting a whole community through a crisis. Needless to say, I burned out.
I closed the company, rather than limp on in to recovery.
Since then, I returned to being a full time BSL interpreter and during my time, I built websites and supported small businesses with their social media.
Now I share my knowledge to help others who want to pivot to a different life.
I help you put ideas into action.
I write about five topics that give you the power to pivot to a new life:

support a number of small business as well as run my own websites so I have an in depth knowledge of what is working in the online space. My point is, I have been exactly where you are, which means if I can learn digital skills, then you can learn these skills too.
I enjoy sharing knowledge and giving people the hints and tricks that can really move their business forward, so here I am!
Who do I help?
‘Mid-lifers’ or Gen-Xers who are new starters to the online landscape and small businesses that want to connect to their ideal client and grow their business. The key word is ‘growth’. I believe personal development goes hand in hand with business development so I’ll support and motivate you to get off the starting blocks and grow consistent income. I can help you if you come with an open mind on what would work for you as an individual and/or your business.

*I run a compassionate, inclusive business. For me that means anyone, regardless of their ‘characteristic’ or intersectionality (including, but not limited to: age, disability, sexuality, religion, caring responsibilities, gender or race) is welcome to access any sessions, courses and resources I share. I strongly believe everyone has a right to achieve their potential and I endeavour to make that happen in my little corner of the world.
Passions: My perfect life involves sitting in room, that’s a wall to wall library with a G&T on a side table.
My pet hates: inflexible structures and processes that do not adapt to an individual’s needs. Why? Because we’re all different! Yes, we need systems and I have created systems myself but the key to a good system is that it can adapt to change.
Loves: I love collaboration and community. Both can be a strength online so if you get the opportunity to work with others or create your own community online, then I strongly encourage you to do it.
Other ‘interesting’ facts about me:
- I drink ridiculous amounts of tea
- I’ve done two bungee jumps (one wasn’t enough apparently!)
- I have a bucket list with 100+ activities that includes activities like ‘go swimming with sharks’. (You only live once, right?)
